• Common Name : Lesser Punch
• Scientific Name : Dodona dipoea (Hewitson)
• Family : LYCAENIDAE
• Wingspan : 35-45mm
• Colour : UP brown, with buff spots on UPF. UPH markings obscure. HW has tornal lobe, but no tail.
• Habit : Weak flier compared to other Punches, often settles down after a brief sortie. Flies between 1800 and 3000m. Visits damp patches. Recorded from Sinchal WLS, Darjeeling.
• Larval Host Plants : Plants of Graminae family
• Location : Himalayan West Bengal
